If this was a royal artifact, I could be accused of plotting an assassination.

Do you think you’d recognize it if you saw it?
When I gave her a pointed look, she cleared her throat awkwardly.

"Picked it up."
Her face twisted in disbelief.
"Picked it up?"

"And how do you know it’s a tool for killing people?"

This juju contained only pure malice.
